The end of 2024 is approaching and that means that cozy Christmas activities are back. How nice is it to get away from it all for a few nights in the South of the Netherlands? We have collected some nice tips for you to make your (mini) vacation in December a success.
Christmas markets tip from Marjo
Idyllic and small-scale, those are these two Christmas markets in South Limburg. A nice tip from Marjo when you want to taste the atmospheric Christmas atmosphere, but do not want to go out as massively as to Maastricht or Kerststad Valkenburg.
A 15-minute drive from The Mechelerhof, you will find this cozy Christmas market. Taste the Christmas atmosphere in local products and craft creations. Everything is all about coziness and creativity at the stalls including candles, jewelry, sweaters, ceramics, cards, crafts and delicacies. Free admission.

About 6 kilometers from our vacation park, you will enjoy conviviality, drama and singing on the square De Pendiel. Come watch the official lighting of the lights in the big Christmas tree.
